Yeah, so with all that out the way, I’ll try and tell you lot a little about me, interview stylee.
So who are you?
My name’s Jen and I’m currently 21 years old (well that’s what it says on my birth certificate.
What do you do?
At the moment, a Spar slave, a DJ at Ayr Hospital Radio and in my last year of Music Technology.
What are your ambitions in life?
Well ultimately I wanna be a radio DJ full-time, either that or be a live sound technician, because I love the whole experience of being at a gig McFly gigs excluded, but more on that later.
Tell us a bit about your life, your likes and dislikes, musical tastes etc
Well as far as my likes and dislikes go…Likes: sex, drugs and rock and roll. Lol, though seriously, I love music, animals - I have four at last count: a black Labrador called Bob, two gerbils called Fidge and Fadge (or Trouble 1 and Trouble 2 as they’re sometimes known) and a sweet pea plant called Lucy who really should be out in the garden…Other likes: in the words of Bill Engvall (legend), everything I like is bad for me - alcohol, nicotine, strange women, sugar, pizza, music, TV, comedy and The Sims. Oh and I do griddlers to sharpen my mind so I don’t go totally mad.
Dislikes: Bitches, homophobes/biphobes/transphobes etc. narrow-mindedness, daytime TV (Car Booty, Cash In The Attic, Bargain Hunt etc.), especially ones with Lorne Spicer and her horrible voice and fake sincerity. I’m sure I’ll think of more.
Music: I’m a country geek - Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, I bet I’ve missed out some, but meh. I love Kelly Clarkson, I would marry her if she would have me. I used to be a huge McFly fan, but some of the fans really turn me off, but they’re fun to watch bitch at each other in a teenie sorta way.
I don’t like The Jonas Brothers. Busted they ain’t, if you like them, listen to the original Year 3000 and What I Go To School For, they’re way better.
As far as my life’s concerned, well I’ve already said about my pets, other than that it’s pretty normal - a dad, a mum, a brother, a boyfriend, great friends who I love, nothing much else really.
